Welcome to "The Christian Songwriters Challenge", a unique songwriting challenge designed to give both experience and opportunity to Christian songwriters no matter what your level of experience.

Each month we will be laying out the rules for the current song contest. We will pick a topic, and give guidelines on what we are looking for in the song, and what we are NOT.

The top 10 songs of each challenge will be featured on

Here are some other great reasons to get involved:

  • Exposure. Get people listening and commenting on your music. (Note: Negative comments will not be allowed).
  • Possible publishing with From the Moment Music and artists who record with Creative Soul Records and need songs.
  • Another thing to push out on your social media sites. Bring your followers and fans to listen and like your song.
We think this will be a super fun monthly challenge for Christian songwriters and hope you will be part of it.

The Christian Songwriters Challenge Rules:
  1. You must have a Reverbnation, Youtube, or Soundcloud link to post. This allows Facebook to put a player directly in the stream. Give a direct link to your MP3 so FB knows to make it play on the Challenge Page.
  2. No links to outside pages. If you don't have one of the above accounts and can give a direct link, then please do not post a song. We don't want people having to get lost in your pages to find a song. If this is done your post will be deleted.
  3. You may submit only one song per challenge. You may not take down your current song and replace it with a new one later. So take your time and choose wisely.
  4. Please feel free to comment and like other people's songs, as this is a big part of why we are doing this. But keep all comments positive only please. This is not a critique. Follow your mother's advice: If you have nothing nice to say...
  5. Try to write something new for the challenge. This is a true spirit of it, and not to just post something that is close. If a song has nothing to do with the Challenge, it will be deleted.
